And Her Name Was Dolly

We had just finished exploring Bryce Canyon NP and were on our way to Zion NP next. What better way to start off your morning than with horses? My sister only wanted to do one thing on this trip, and that was horseback riding. Funny enough she ended up riding a Donkey. And her name was Dolly. Ha! (Please enjoy this photo of Dolly below)

Being that this was my first time going horseback riding, I was ecstatic to say the least. Now that I think of it, it was Faiths first time donkey riding. (I cackled as I wrote this. lol) We picked the White Mountain Horseback Ride from East Zion Adventures. They had great options to choose from and this one was perfect for our day. Side Note: If you are going to be visiting the area I recommend checking this place out during your planning. In addition to horseback riding they have Jeep Tours, UTV Tours, Guided Hiking, Canyoneering and more!

You meet down the road at this cute place called The Coffee Shop Co. I recommend getting the waffle. Side Note: Know that I am not a person who will give you a bad waffle recommendation. You feel me? Anyway, they lead you from the shop and bring you to the ranch where the ride begins. Being on time is cool. Be cool to these people. This tour was an easy, intimate, one hour horseback ride through the scenic views to a canyon slot. At the slot canyon you dismount and have a moment to explore. While you relax on the ride, you can constantly capture the incredible photo ops!

Shout out to our guides Margaret & Jacob! They did a wonderful job with the whole experience. It was perfect.

Side Note: While writing this I reminded myself how much I really enjoyed horseback riding. I need to do it more. If you have any suggestions on trails from your travels let me know!
